Get Clearer on Your Niche
The world needs your gifts and talents more than ever. So let’s cover how you can double your online reach by getting clear on your ideal client.
Not too long ago, I was able to more than double my online business reach by honing in on seven simple questions. When I wrote out my responses to the questions, I got clearer on my target audience.
Note: I’m not focusing on sale conversions. This is due to the fact that products and service sales are a “byproduct” of how many people you are able to help.
The more people you are able to reach, the more people you are able to help. The more people you help, the more they will share your product and services with others.
So if you got something good to offer to the world, expand your reach and the sales will follow.
Whether you are a blogger, vlogger or (fill in the blank) -gger, understanding your audience is key. It is the most critical factor in expanding your reach. But it's not always easy.
Understanding your audience is always evolving and needs to be an ongoing process.
When you know who you are trying to reach, you’re better able to build an audience that can benefit from what you have to offer. In order to ensure you are offering your gifts and talents in front of the right audience, first do your due diligence.
Market research. The better you know your tribe, the better you are able to serve their pain points.
Know the basics. Is there a specific gender you prefer to work with? What language does your ideal client speak? What is your ideal client’s marital status? Do they have children?
Perhaps you resonate more with a specific gender or demographic. Sometimes developing your niche gets clearer over time and as you grow your business. Other times, you gain clarity simply through trial and error.
