Chakras Defined

What does chakra even mean?

Chakra means “wheel” in Sanskrit. The chakras are energy centers that spin in a column from the crown of the head to the tailbone. Your body has over 70,000 chakras. Each time your meridians cross, that junction is called a chakra.

Your seven main chakras are energetic centers located at your endocrine glands. The money chakra is indicated by the red colored dot, also the bottom dot in the image below.

We are made up of energy.

When your chakras are balanced, energy is able to freely flow through you energetic system which leads to a greater sense of wellness.

Having balanced chakras impacts your aura, your energetic field. A balanced and cleansed aura will allow you to attract positive results.

It is not only important that each chakra be balanced, but that they also be balanced in relationship to each other. The lower 3 major chakras are considered masculine in nature and call us to action. They help to ground us and are usually concerned with the material world.

The higher 3 major chakras are feminine in nature and are associated with self-reflection and the spiritual aspects of life. The heart chakra is balanced in masculine and feminine energy and can help to balance other chakras.

What exactly is the money chakra?

The money chakra is more commonly known as the root chakra. It is very important because it is our foundation chakra. This energy center impacts your career, money mindset and sense of security.

The money chakra impacts all other chakras as it is your foundation. Located at the base of the spine, the money chakra represents basic survival needs.

When balanced, the money chakra supports your ability to handle financial challenges with a constructive approach. An imbalanced root chakra can lead to a scarcity mindset and financial anxiety.
